Description:
Rock Hard 4x4 Parts JK gas tank skid is made from 3/16" steel plate laser cut and CNC bent for a perfect fit. The removal of the factory skid is not necessary as the Rock Hard skid bolts right over it using factory bolts and one additional one on 2-door models and three additional bolts on 4-door models. Some drilling is required for these 3/8" bolts. The two front factory bolts are replaced with tapered bolt head protectors to allow rocks to slide across them with ease and still allow you to get a socket on the bolt heads for removal. The sides are tapered along the full length of the vehicle for better clearance. These plates are a powder coated black with a slight texture.
