Put these on a Jeep TJ Wrangler with a 3 lift and 33 tires. They have a softer, more dampened ride that's not as harsh/stiff as the last off road shocks I had on there. At first I was concerned they may be too soft. Now I think I like them. They seem to compress more easily, but they slow the rapid movement of the piston, effectively dampening the compression. Same thing on rebound. They have taken away some of the stiff/harsh ride typically associated with the Jeep's ride... making it more car like. Off road, they work really well smoothing out harsh bumps and dips... especially when moving along at a higher clip. I also like the brushed aluminum-like exterior texture of the shocks which is unique compared to other smoothly painted shocks.. I've noticed that mud doesn't stick to them as easily and sprays right off. Time will tell how long they hold up.
