This intake system moves the air filter away from the stuffy engine compartment so cooler air can be circulated into the engine for an increase in power. Cooler air is denser, and brings more oxygen into the combustion chamber to help your vehicle perform at its greatest potential.

The cylindrical design and large diameter tube allow Rough Country's Cold Air Intake System to provide far better airflow than the factory air filter enclosed in a box.

I've been fixing up an old XJ and I was struggling to keep speed up in the mountains on the way to snowboarding. I decided to add this prior to a larger throttle body. I was pretty skeptical at first, but I dropped it in with about 20-30 min of work. Like some people mentioned, the holes don't line up perfectly, but it's not hard to bend it into the right spot. I was pleasantly surprised with a decent pickup from stop and I can feel there is more power. The Jeep format shift into lower gears as often. Haven't taken it to the hills yet or been able to check gas mileage, but at this point, I wouldn't take it off.

Nothing fit correctly on my 96 but I did get it to fit. It's definitely made a big difference in the giddy up with throttle response which is awesome. Definitely worth what I paid given the pita it was to get it to fit. I should have bought the throttle body spacer with it to really see a difference in throttle response. I've noticed I'm getting a little better gas mileage as well.

RETURNS & EXCHANGES

All returns must be accompanied by an original or copy of the receipt within 30 days. There are no refunds/credits after 30 days. Electrical items, tools, installed parts, and some special order items are non-refundable/non-returnable.

All items returned are subject to a minimum 15% restock fee unless other arrangements were made at the time of purchase.

Shipping charges will not be refunded unless item was received damaged or defective, or an error was made on our part when processing your order. Please contact us for any further questions on non-returnable items.

In order to return any products you must contact our customer service at 1-800-341-7757 and obtain an RGA number and write it large and clear on the box being returned.
