The shocks are a big improvement over the OEM and offer a much more controlled ride. The floatiness of the OEM shocks is eliminated and the ride is firm. The bounciness of the rear end has been greatly reduced. However, installation is a PITA. The shocks are listed as stock ride height and 1"" lifted ride height. They are longer than OEM and are several inches longer than the distance between the top mounting hole on the vehicle frame and bottom mounting hole on the axle. They are very stiff and difficult to compress. After multiple gyrations of ramps and floor jacks trying to get the rear suspension to full droop, I was able to place a tine of a pickle fork through the slot in the lower mounting bracket, get the shaft of the fork under the bottom of the shock, use the handle as a lever arm and then compressed and slid the shock into place. Two shocks and four bolts should not have taken nearly as long as it did.
