    These steps were not easy to install. The directions really are confusing for a layman so beware. I installed on a 2008 F250 with 6 inch lift. The wiring diagram is useless so be ready to use your ohm meter. Never once says what wire goes where and color codes are difficult. Over all nice steps but still not low enough with extensions. Over $1500 and pathetic directions.

    Picked these up on 08/18/2021 and it's 07/26/2022 and they don't work. I guess the control module is bad. It is not made to take the heat literally. Once engine compartment warms up or it's a typical hot Florida day the step is inop. Customer support was helpful when I installed them we will see how well a warranty claim goes. I hope you have better luck than I with these faulty modules. Google it I'm not making it up.Update: Dude at customer support was a prick. They take your money and their product takes a crap. Worthless POS.

    Install was easy except for the electrical connection to the door switch wires. There are several wires of the same color for the driver side door. You have to read the instructions for wiring very carefully. Really nice operation. The step drops down so it is half-way between the door sill and the ground on my standard height F-250. When it is up it is invisible.

    I ordered these based off others reviews. So I figured I'd write a review about them.They look great tucked away and hidden. The look great opened up for use mode.As others mentioned, they take time to install. About 5 hours, I'm mechanically inclined and the actual install is pretty easy. Routing the wires and finding the right wire in the wiring harness takes time.Not sure about other trucks(mine is a 2015 f350) but I had multiple wires of the same color for the drivers front door. So funding the right one took about an hour.But it was worth the time and effort. They look great, they seem to be pretty strong and the surface is textured. Hopefully the last a long time.

    Excellent product. I read a review of someone saying the directions were poor, couldn't disagree more. If you can read and have basic skills you can install. I meant to order plug and play but purchased the other (my mistake not theirs) i decided to give these a try instead of using my OBDII port, it took a little while to find the correct door ajar' wires but only because there are what seems like MILLIONS of wires on a f250 crammed into the space. The instructions were detailed, the AMP wires are color coded the same and if you take your time you will find the right ones. One hint, they are basically running together or near each other and not spread out amongst all the others. If you think about how the wire harness is made and installed at the factory it would only make sense for them to be grouped together. I tapped the 4 wires with the supplied taps and PRESTO it works like a charm. They drop down instantly, way faster then you can climb in. The looks you get when folks hear and see them drop down is priceless and worth the 4 hours of install.
