    I'm 6 foot and getting out of my ""new to me"" 2014 lifted Tundra was hazardous. My feet wouldn't hit the ground unless I backed out of the cab. The ""PowerStep"" is absolutely awesome. It makes it easy to step in and out of the cab and it hugs the cab when not in use, minimizing the chance of damage while keeping snow and ice from accumulating on them. The LED lamps are great in the dark. The steps are expensive so you have to be sure that this is what you need. If your not good with electrical, purchase the Plug-N-Play version. I didn't and that is what took the longest, just making sure I had the correct wires. No regrets for me, just advice for others.

    These came on the pre-owned truck i bought. If you have city truck, these would be a 5 star, if you use your truck on dirt, rocks, mud, this gets a 1 star.On my truck I use on lease dirt/mud roads, one motor went out on one side causing horrific noise,that I was able to temporarily fix but then the other motor gave out too. I took the steps off, an installed a different set of oem steps.

    The units come well packaged. These were to replace a set of AMP RESEARCH POWERSTEP XL boards for my 2018 Tundra CrewMax (which I had professionally replaced with these). The PowerSteps are perfect for a non-lifted Tundra. When deployed they are almost exactly mid way between ground and the door seal. They're rated at 600 lbs per side which is about 2? X more support than I need. So having more engineered strength is reassuring that you're not over stressing the boards or levers. Look good! Get a lot of compliments!

    The install is the most challenging part, but it's doable. I'm not the most mechanically technical person and I followed the steps slowly and gave myself plenty of time and got it done probably 8 hours with taking breaks and also going to lunch. Most people could get this done in a few hours for sure.Looks 100% sexy!Quality 100%!! Would highly recommend to anyone with a truck.
