For the 1990 Model Year Suzuki Samurais Recieved a Larger Driveline Bolt Pattern.
If you need to replace a late Samurai flange for use with a 1990-1995 Samurai driveline you need to order:
- Front Output STC-FLLOF
- Rear Output STC-FLLO
Front and rear Samurai transfer-case flanges are not interchangable. Front flanges have a seal surface, rear seals are pressed into the case itself.
These are also commonly used with Toyota axles swaps. Here is some useful tech info to consider.
This new pattern, 60mm x 60mm x 10mm bolt, was also used on most 1984-1995 U-Joint style Toyota Trucks and 4Runners (but not all). If you want to put a Toyota driveline on you Samurai you have two options. Either use a Toyota driveline adapter (Sold at Low Range) or run a large flange with matching bolt pattern.
However, modification is needed to fit the Toyota yoke into the Samurai flange centering bore. You need to clearence out the flange face I.D. if planning on using a Toyota Driveline.
Note: Please Measure Your Driveshaft Bolt Pattern. Although This Is A Very Common Toyota Bolt Pattern, It Is Not The Only One. If Your Toyota Driveline Does Not Match The 60mm Square Pattern Try The Pentadapter.
With a Toyota driveline you may still need to use a Samurai flange nut to avoid clearence problems.
