The ideas behind this are great. There are a lot of little great design features for what seems like a simple product. It fits very close or on top of the edge all around. The front folds back so the T-top can be put on without removing the bikini top, while not leaving a gap when the top is off. The front magnetically clips under the front shield, so it doesn't catch any wind or flap. There is no noticeable added wind noise. The material is quite rugged and seems like it will last. It protects me from burning in an hour of driving, which is the main thing I needed.Unfortunately it doesn't seem to be designed for the Gladiator JT. Perhaps they made it for the Wrangler and figured it's close enough to keep for the JT, but it suffers for that. The straps aren't quite long enough in the back. It very difficult to attach in any way with the back hardtop on (though I managed to barely get them attached after an hour, so it's possible). I don't think it could possibly reach in the way the directions described, hardtop or not - I wrapped them a different way angled around the sides and barely connected them. (At the least they could print a new direction sheet for the JT.)The way the front folds back so it doesn't have to be removed to put the T-top back on is great. This makes the front latches accessible. There is also a hole to access the back latches. However there is no hole to access the side latches, so it's a struggle to get those to close/open. It can be done by pushing on an angle stretching through the mesh, or you have to have a long forearm to reach above the front and back to the latch, or you have to remove the bikini side clasp. My forearm to fingertip is 19 inches, so I can barely reach it over the top. I've managed to push it through the mesh as well. Taking the clasp off would be a real pain. It's not practical to keep it taut whichever method you use because they all involve stretching the top, so don't expect it to be a beautiful flat mesh like in the photos. The latter doesn't affect its functionality, just cosmetics. I'm not sure it's practical to keep any mesh top perfectly taut over time, regardless. So two significant flaws = 2 stars off. I'm not sure if I would buy this one again or another, as others don't have many of the little engineering features this one has. Hopefully it gets improved by the time I need a new one (which I expect will be several years). They do seem to care about the quality of their product.
