The 6112's are everything they're claimed to be. I mounted them on a '09 Tacoma DCLB TRD Sport at the second ring setting (~1.3"" lift) to level the chassis front-to-back. The ride quality is superb; the large shock body has excellent dampening characteristics keeping the wheels planted while still allowing for a very active spring. Removing the front sway bar unleashes even more potential in the 6112's for offroading; the suspension is still firm enough to drive at highway speeds but avoid fast weaving maneuvers and DO NOT tow a trailer without the sway bar. Another mentionable benefit of these shocks is improved braking from reduced brake dive.If you intend to mount the 6112's at full lift (~2.65) do your homework. Consider lowering the front differential, shifting/relocating the front sway bar forward (or eliminating it altogether), and upgrading the upper control arms. Refer to tacomaworld.com for lots of great info on the installation of these awesome front shocks.
