I have a 4WD Suburban with a 3"" lift. The shocks that included with the lift kit were extremely stiff and presented a safety hazard by causing the front end to almost 'lift off' the surface when hitting a bump. Replaced them with Bilstein 4600's. Even though they were supposed to be a direct fit, they were too tight for the upper factory mount and wouldn't quite fit in properly. Ended up having to use an angle grinder with a 60 grit flap disc to shave a few thousandths off the upper bolt sleeve, after which it fit in nicely. Great shock, but be aware you 'may' need to modify it a bit.

I put a full set of these on a 96 2 door Tahoe 4x4 running 17"" wheels on a 33"" tires. They do ride a bit on the stiffer side even with stock ride height. Great on dirt or bumpy roads though!

Made in Mexico. Didn't come strapped up. Seem okayish... Will update after some time and miles.
