This was a direct part replacement for my old shocks (took the part number right off the label) but the metal bushing sleeve, within the rubber bushing, was the wrong inner diameter. Luckily my old rubber was still good so it was easy to pop out the rubber and swap them (just use a socket and tap it out).

Work and look great on my 88 K5 Blazer, dampened leaf springs a ton and improved cornering performance. I am a factory front dual shock configuration, just ensure you add a spacer between the two at the axle mount and align them in their provisioned mounts in the frame and you'll be golden.

I run these shocks up front in a 14 version. Purchased these for the rear of my 96XJ with a 6 lift. Perfect replacement for my blown shocks.

Mounted up to the rear of my jeep zj with a 4 lift and rides great. The ride is firm, but not harsh.

after 4 years of overlanding with heavy loads my jeep needed new shocks- and i replaced the old bilsteins with new ones. the difference in ride quaity is of course noticable, but what really got me was the price. looking forward to another 4 years of wheeling.
