I bought this because I needed a mounting option for my ARB Air tank, and the ARB folks will not sell that bracket alone. Although on paper the 4L Air tank mounting looks great and the bracket itself mounts well, there is a screw sticking out of my 2-door JL frame that keeps the Air tank from fitting in the space. So, if you're willing to cut off a screw from your frame, and part of the air duct under your passenger seat to fit the large air compressor , this is the kit for you!

I'd been searching for an underseat secure box like available for the JK with no luck...so I made my own. This bracket bolted right in with a little modification. I bent the rear flap up and drilled new holes to allow for the extra length. I did not mount the front bolts as I didn't want to cut the air duct. This then allowed for the V-Line 2597-S Desk Mate Keyless Security Box to bolt in giving me a secure box for when the top is off. The tray for the desk mate doesn't fit but the box is lined with felt which prevents scratching the handgun finish.Regardless of the front bolts not being fastened and the modifications there is almost no way someone would easily steal the box and the weapon inside. If I could make a suggestion to ARB its that they modify this bracket for proper use with the security box and fill a void left with the new JLs.
