I purchased this JL Adjustable Spare Tire Mounting Kit (4838910) for my 2022 Jeep Wrangler 392 w/ OEM Tailgate reinforcement and relocation bracket for the stock 35"" tire. I followed the included installation instructions but they differed from my physical characteristics in regards to how the rear camera was mounted to the tire carrier. On page 3 of the instructions (see attached pic), step 2 says to remove the two T25 torx bolts and tap the studs with a hammer to remove the camera from the carrier. That didn't work for me. When I removed the 2 torx bolts, the three studs and their attached bracket came out easily with no need to use a hammer but the camera wasn't attached to the stud bracket, rather was fixed inside the long cone base of the tire carrier and appeared to be no way of removing it, as the entire cone base is one continuously molded piece. However, if you look on the backside, you can see where the inner base that has the camera attached is pressed into the outer base and requires a pry tool to remove it. I used a metal auto trim removal tool and pried at 3 separate points around the perimeter of the inner base (see attached pic) until it popped out, bringing the camera out with it. Assemble was easy enough and the instructions were easy to follow but weren't quite fitting to my reinforced tailgate and the part associated with it. I removed all the stock hardware except the reinforcement bracket and kept the 8 stock bolts and 2 shim pieces to be reused to mount the newTeraFlex kit (see attached pic). Over all, it turned out well and I think it looks and fits much better than my stock setup for my aftermarket wheels. I hope you found this review informative and useful in getting your kit mounted properly.
