TBH I'm not surprised the JL version is great as I bought one for my prior JK 5+ years ago and was very happy with that. I'm glad this version comes with a replacement inner grill so you don't need to destroy your OEM one. Install is easy and rock solid. It would be nice if they designed one that was more stealth and couldn't be seen, however with the JL front design I don't think that's possible without designing some kind of trap door style flap or part in the inner grill.

I normally don't review. But this product deserves props. I installed this hood lock on my JL Wrangler. The lock is well constructed and fits like an OEM part. The instant adaptation to your existing door key is a big plus. What impressed me the most was the included grill piece (so no cutting on my old JL grill) and the new plastic trim plugs. The included rivets may be a problem for some that don't have a heavy duty rivet setting tool. But the comment by some people did warn about this. My installed lock looks like a factory install and works well.

I can't get over the fact that you can neither look the hood nor the gas cap of a Jeep Gladiator. This lock here is the perfect solution for the hood. It's easy to install, solid and feels high quality. Can highly recommend this!
