After you've bought it and read the instructions, they require yu to drill an 1-1/2"" hole in your waterproof dash...I choose not too and ran the harness across my Anvil Overland ram bar to the drivers side door amd then thru the windshield crease...works good that way with no water infiltration...

Installed this myself. No issues. No complications. The only thing I would recommend is putting some sort of labels on the switches. I still have a hard time remembering which switch is which.

Looks great installed in Jeep. Instructions are for automatic trans. Instructions have you go through the plug for the hydraulic line for clutch. Manual trans requires a bit of creativity to install but can be done. Wiring has to enter through boot on the right side of the firewall. The harness is just long enough with out having to splice.Great company to deal with. The switch panel came with scratch caused by rough handling of package. Contacted company and had replacement in a couple days over a holiday weekend.

Product had the defect they were more than happy to return and replace with A brand new one awesome customer service cannot be a great product

The image shows the in-dash switches for JL, this did not come with the product. The generic top-of-dash switches came. not sure if the right product was sent. One of the latches on the enclosure is broken off and missing parts so can't be repaired. The only option would be to zip-tie it shut. Also, two screw contacts appear to be damaged and missing the screws. If came with proper switches I would have considered keeping it and trying to fix it, but will return it.Something to note about this product in general. I purchased this, hoping it would make installing rough country Lighting easier but the relays in this kit only have 2 terminals each. this means if you have their DRL lights you will need to wire them independently from this product or you will lose the feature of the DRL going off when the light comes on.

The install wasn't exactly as stated in the manual. It's set for a JK install, I have the JL. When purchased I was told it was for the JL too, and it is. But the install is different. The dash is different in the manual and the firewall holes were nonexistent in mine. I ended up drilling an access through the firewall and some creative fishing to get the wiring harness through the dash. So overall install was a bit of a challenge, but once installed it works pretty good and looks great. The only problem so far after a month after install. The switch on the side that illuminates the switches has already shorted out. The first switch stays illuminated all the time, the rest operate properly by tuning the switch on and off.Not for someone that isn't confident in drilling holes in there Jeep. I suggest if you have no mechanical aptitude, hire a pro.
