46mm Monotube Shock Absorber

Bilstein B8 5100 (Ride Height Adjustable) shock absorbers are designed for trucks and SUVs with a front OE coilover style suspension. Multiple snap-ring grooves in the body allow for different spring seat positions, providing 0-3 inches of front lift with OE springs (depending on application). The monotube shock absorbers feature a 46mm digressive piston a with self-adjusting deflective disc valve setting.Bilstein B8 5100 (Ride Height Adjustable) shock absorbers provide increased wheel travel and improved handling. Great upgrade for ride quality and easy installation

I had these on my 08 titan pro4x made such a different in ride quality that I made it the first upgrade on my new 2019 titan pro4x they leveled the truck perfect 39.25 in front an back super easy to install just need a shop to compress the springs due to there a heavy spring. I tried to due it myself but the tool I rented to compress the springs went to hell on me an we couldn't get the spring compressed enough to install new strut. My suggestion to anyone doing it is just try an find a good local shop to compress the springs and swap the struts out for u. I did read in other comments that to reuse the dust boot u had to double stack the washers with the old an new I didn't have to do that. Literally just swap out everything that comes with strut ,washer, nut. Use the second to the last notch to level the truck. Would definitely buy again and would definitely recommend.

Installation Instructions Could Be Improved

When installing the shock you will see that the (from factory) dust boot cannot be held up by the Bilstein supplied lower washer replacement. The Bilstein supplied replacement lower washer does not have the same lip that supports the dust boot as the larger factory lower washer. The Bilstein supplied lower washer does need to be used as it's shape prevents damage to the shock upper seal should the shop ever fully compress (rare). The easy solution (not explained in the directions) is to install the original lower washer (from factory) on top of the Bilstein supplied lower washer (double stack) being sure to follow the orientation in the instructions for the Bilstein lower washer. This works perfectly and allows the dust boot to be reused (a good idea to protect the shock piston rod).

Unhappy with the ride quality of these

Installed these last week on my 2017 Nissan Titan along with a set on the rear. They are VERY stiff and create a harsh ride, so if you want a more plush ride you might not like them.

All returns must be accompanied by an original or copy of the receipt within 30 days. There are no refunds/credits after 30 days. Electrical items, tools, installed parts, and some special order items are non-refundable/non-returnable.

All items returned are subject to a minimum 15% restock fee unless other arrangements were made at the time of purchase.

Shipping charges will not be refunded unless item was received damaged or defective, or an error was made on our part when processing your order. Please contact us for any further questions on non-returnable items.

In order to return any products you must contact our customer service at 1-800-341-7757 and obtain an RGA number and write it large and clear on the box being returned. Also care must be taken by you the customer to pack the returned merchandise carefully so that it does not get damaged when sent back to us. Off Road Warehouse is not responsible for any damage that occurs during shipment back to us and the product will become non-returnable if it becomes damaged during the return shipment.

Any customer that receives damaged or defective merchandise should contact Off Road Warehouse immediately and at the latest within 30 days of the Invoice/Purchase date.

Order Cancelations are not guaranteed. Orders are processed once they are received, In some cases these are with third party vendors and manufactors. We will do everything in our power to stop an Order already in motion but sometimes we are unable to do so.
