I've owned 2 Backflips and a couple of other brands as well. After finding Backflip, I never went back. Although I find that this cover does not seal to the bed quite as well as some others I've tried, it's a minor trade-off for getting a lighter, sleeker, more convenient and less bulky cover. It's not completely watertight, but that's not a big issue for me because it still blocks most precipitation and drains it from the cover. What little water does get in the edges is not enough to get anything inside wet, as it just trickles down the grooves in the bed until it drains out. I've been camping, skiing and hunting in the rain and snow and none of my gear has ever gotten wet. The only improvement I would suggest is another clip receiver in the center of the cover so that you can fold the first section back and clip it. Often, I have something like a grill or propane tank or piece of equipment that I tie down in the back. There is no way to safely just fold back 1 panel and lock it down. You have to fold it all the way back, which exposes the rest of the bed to the elements and wind. Minor issue though. Oh BTW, their customer service is great.
