Description
The TeraFlex JK 2.5 Suspension Lift Kit is an ultra simple performance oriented lift kit that provides amazing highway drivability with very capable off road performance. Drivability and performance are the most important factors that are engineered and built into every TeraFlex lift kit. Properly developed suspension geometry, roll center, and load tuning ensure that all factory stability controls remain functional and within the parameters that Jeep originally engineered into the vehicle. TeraFlex kits drive straight and will crawl anything, getting you there and back! This kit includes 2.5" lift coil springs, rear swaybar links, heavy duty rear trackbar axle bracket, bumpstop extensions and all necessary hardware. This kit will allow you to run up to a 35 tire (aftermarket wheels with 4.5 backspacing or less are required). Fits all JK Wrangler models including Rubicon & Unlimited. Note: 2012+ JKs may require exhaust spacers (#2610000) or other exhaust modification for proper driveshaft clearance if front extended shock length is greater than 24.5.

Install was relatively easy and everything bolted right on without any modifications (other than tweaking the brake lines as they mentioned). Extensions for the parking brake cable body stud-bracket would be nice but I was able to make a couple. Otherwise, I am extremely happy with this kit!

Minor installation challenges

Lift kit showed up packaged VERY well. No damage to any of the components. Install was a bit more time consuming than anticipated (but more due to the shock on the front pass side of the vehicle having no room up top). My advice is start all bolts before torquing any down on all components. Provided closer to 3.25"" of lift on my 2017 Sport S and leveled the front. I've only drive two blocks on ice and snow (to make sure there were no rattles or anything questionable going on), but seems to perform okay so far. I chose to pair with Fox 2.0 shocks. Will update later after I've put some miles on it with a full review.

Very good quality lift kit for the money. You can pay hundreds more for some other lift kits and still not get a kit with quality parts as good as this. Instructions are out of order somewhat, so be very careful and read through the entire instruction package before you start.

No instructions or parts for the front brake lines and they will need some work to not get stretched. The rear relocation brackets were perfect, should come with front one's as well. I made some and then had to figure out how to get enough slack, not real difficult. A lot of people just take the brake hose bracket loose off of the lower spring bracket and let it dangle - I did not want to do that as I get into brushy country at times and don't want them snagging. Everything else went well.

Excellent lift kit. I installed it on my 08 Jeep Wrangler JK 4 door. It leveled it out nicely, and lifted it noticeably. There looks to be enough room for 35s easily. I also bought new shocks, and Rancho RS6250B Control Arm correction Brackets. Installing this as a set was a night and day difference. It feels like a stock vehicle and is very stable, except now it sits higher and looks better. I followed a combination of the instructions in the kit, and some videos online and had no trouble at all with the install. It took me a day to complete while taking my time; I am fairly mechanically inclined, but I haven't worked on a Jeep before. I would also rate this kit as excellent for coming with all of the bolts, nuts, and parts (including custom wrench!) needed to complete the install smoothly.

Poor customer service and alignment issues

Love the way the Jeep drives with this lift kit. I paired it with Rancho 9000xl shocks. I had to take 2 stars away for the rear track bar bracket and poor customer service. My rear end is kicked out 1"" further on the left side than the right. Not only are the holes higher than the amount of lift I got, but they are not centered above the stock hole, exaggerating the poor alignment. The kit used to come with a different bracket that I think was more suited for this height of lift. I havnt even mounted a new bumper with larger tire, and the weight should make the problem even worse. I contacted the seller who was supposed to get back to me but blew me off. I also contacted Teraflex who simply suggested I buy a new track bar.

RETURNS & EXCHANGES

All returns must be accompanied by an original or copy of the receipt within 30 days. There are no refunds/credits after 30 days. Electrical items, tools, installed parts, and some special order items are non-refundable/non-returnable.

All items returned are subject to a minimum 15% restock fee unless other arrangements were made at the time of purchase.

Shipping charges will not be refunded unless item was received damaged or defective, or an error was made on our part when processing your order. Please contact us for any further questions on non-returnable items.

In order to return any products you must contact our customer service at 1-800-341-7757 and obtain an RGA number and write it large and clear on the box being returned. Also care must be taken by you the customer to pack the returned merchandise carefully so that it does not get damaged when sent back to us. Off Road Warehouse is not responsible for any damage that occurs during shipment back to us and the product will become non-returnable if it becomes damaged during the return shipment.
