Description

Rock Assault Double-Ended Ram and Clevis Kit with 2.5 Inch Bore by 1.375 Inch Rod This is the ram you have been looking for if you are building a rig for off-road racing or rock crawling competitions and need extra steering force for the largest tires.

Our Rock Assault Heavy-Duty Double-Ended Ram has a one-piece 1.375 Inch diameter 4340 chromoly steel rod that is more resistant to bending under heavy steering loads. We also increased the bore size to 2.5 Inch to give you 5,649 pounds of force at 1650 psi. This is 15.0 Percent more force than our standard Rock Assault Double-Ended Ram.

Of course, we kept all the features that made our standard Rock Assault Double-Ended Ram so reliable. We still have dual rod seals on each end to prevent fluid leakage under heavy loads, and polyurethane wiper seals on each end protect the seals from dirt and debris. Dual piston wear bands and rod bushings on each end allow the ram to absorb much higher side loads than other double-ended rams.

The triple-lip piston seal prevents fluid bypass and gives you consistent steering with no drift. The cylinder has a black zinc-plated finish to prevent corrosion, and the number 6 JIC steering ports will work with all standard number 6 JIC fittings.

The rod has 0.75 Inch-16 female threads on each end. Available in your choice of 8.0 Inch, 8.75 Inch, or 10.0 Inch. This kit contains everything you need to mount your ram to almost anything on your rig. We also include our Clevis End Kit that will work with your 0.75 Inch rod ends. If you are using our Rock Assault 9 Front Axle Housing, you will need to use a 10 Inch ram for your steering setup.

These rams are for use with hydraulic or power steering fluid only. The use of Automatic Transmission Fluid or semi-synthetic blends will void the warranty.

Return Policy

RETURNS & EXCHANGES

All returns must be accompanied by an original or copy of the receipt within 30 days. There are no refunds/credits after 30 days. Electrical items, tools, installed parts, and some special order items are non-refundable/non-returnable.

All items returned are subject to a minimum 15% restock fee unless other arrangements were made at the time of purchase.

Shipping charges will not be refunded unless item was received damaged or defective, or an error was made on our part when processing your order. Please contact us for any further questions on non-returnable items.

In order to return any products you must contact our customer service at 1-800-341-7757 and obtain an RGA number and write it large and clear on the box being returned. Also care must be taken by you the customer to pack the returned merchandise carefully so that it does not get damaged when sent back to us. Off Road Warehouse is not responsible for any damage that occurs during shipment back to us and the product will become non-returnable if it becomes damaged during the return shipment.

DAMAGED OR DEFECTIVE MERCHANDISE

Any customer that receives damaged or defective merchandise should contact Off Road Warehouse immediately and at the latest within 30 days of the Invoice/Purchase date.

Please contact the Customer Service line at 1-800-341-7757 for more information on returning the merchandise to us and how long it will take to receive a replacement.

Off Road Warehouse does its best to make sure that all merchandise is free of defects and is shipped safely but accidents in shipping and transportation as well as manufacturing defects do happen. We will be happy to help you out and get you new merchandise as quickly as possible.

Order Cancelations

Order Cancelations are not guaranteed. Orders are processed once they are received, In some cases these are with third party vendors and manufactors. We will do everything in our power to stop an Order already in motion but sometimes we are unable to do so.

If you request a cancellation, we will confirm the order is canceled prior to issuing a refund. If your order is not able to be canceled, you must follow the Return Policy Guidelines outlined above.
